It’s that time of the month again! Volume 3 has finally arrived, and with it the glorious age of Gundam the Origin totally unseen to American eyes. This volume covers the first half of the Ramba Ral arc, and it does it beautifully. Even with my extensive background with the One Year War, I couldn’t put it down! I was engaged from start to finish. Events that simply seem to happen in the original anime are wonderfully foreshadowed (MSM-07), along with a healthy dollop of original material (Char in a poncho) makes this volume entertaining and captivating to read even when you already know what happens.
As for the robots, I couldn’t think of any good pose to do, and by my own shame I admit I don’t own a single Zaku or Gouf, so I decided to do Mazinger Z proudly patting the RX-78 on the head, though it kind of looks like the RX-78 is going to get crushed, haha.
This volume, too, was worth the money I spent for it. I thank Vertical once again from the bottom of my heart! As they say in Zeon, SIEG VERTIKALEN!
This has to become a thing! Please internets make it a thing ;)
